In order to maintain a historic pipe organ in good working condition, it is essential to have it inspected and tuned regularly. As a specialist for tracker organs it is important for my work on historic instruments to protect the character of each instrument during a repair and bring it back to its original condition. Since establishing my workshop in 1994 in Tampa, Florida, I had extensiv experience with organ builders from the 19th century in the United States.
As a result of the extreme climate in the South, pipe organs require rather more attention than in other areas of the United States. I service organs in Florida, Texas and Jamaica on a regular basis. On each visit I will tune the organ, regulate the pipes and repair working parts as necessary, and report on supplementary service needed over and above regular maintenance.
